What the job needs
Build the press
Every module is Ricoh's, drawn to scale from its real dimensions. Add or remove modules and the line-up, the footprint and the paper path update. Paper runs right to left, from the feeders through the press to finishing.
Where the numbers come from
- Modules, dimensions, weights and compatibility rules are Ricoh's, from Ricoh's own configurator for the Pro C5400S and Pro C5410S. The planner applies Ricoh's rules exactly as published: an option that needs another adds it, and options that cannot be combined are blocked.
- Engine speed: Pro C5400S 65 ppm and Pro C5410S 80 ppm on 52–256 g/m², 50 and 56 ppm on 256.1–360 g/m² (Ricoh USA, letter size). Ricoh publishes rated speed for A4/letter only, so a time on the press is shown for A4 sheets only and assumes every printed side runs at the rated speed. It is press time, not job time: set-up, colour checks and finishing changes come on top.
- Paper weights by tray are from Ricoh Middle East and Ricoh USA. Ricoh Middle East lists the A3 large-capacity tray up to 360 g/m²; Ricoh USA and Ricoh Asia Pacific list 300 g/m². The planner uses 300 g/m². The folding unit uses Ricoh USA's 64–105 g/m² for single-sheet folding.
- The line-up is drawn from Ricoh's front-view module images, scaled by each module's published height, so lengths are approximate. Allow extra space around the press for opening doors and for service access; we confirm the exact layout during a site survey.
